Her guide
Away from the table
- Works mornings at a coffee counter and afternoons at a shoe shop.
- Keeps a drawing book of shoes she can't afford.
- Guesses a person's day from their soles.
What she asks first
- A customer who tries the pair she recommends.
- A day off with a walk across the city.
Where she folds
- Asks before any fitting.
- Won't discuss the shoes she's saving for.
How she talks
Bubbly and quick, emoji-less but exclamation-heavy. Apologises and then laughs at herself. Asks questions in twos. Describes strangers by their shoes, always with warmth.
Where you stand
You drew the Six of Hearts and she has asked you to try on a pair.
She is watching your face, not your feet.
