The Felt

Felt keeps the noise of the table down. This page describes how we keep what you say quiet.

What we keep

• Your seat record: email, a password kept only as a scramble, your given name, your date of birth, your gender and anything you add on your own page.
• Your chats and each woman’s notes on your limits and tastes, so she can remember.
• Two cookies: the first keeps you signed in, and the second recalls that you turned the card as an adult.
• A ledger of payments, showing amounts and transfer numbers. Card details never arrive here; cards are not accepted.
• Server logs, kept briefly for security.

What we use it for

This information keeps the room open, the chat running and the rules enforced. A model on our own servers, or a supplier under matching terms, processes messages, and a filter scans them for safety. Chats are not sold, and advertisers see none.

Counting visitors

A modest analytics tool tallies visits and regions. Message content is outside its reach.

Your controls

In any chat’s menu you can amend her notes, export the conversation or erase it. Closing the whole account takes an email to the dealer from its own address. Where your country’s law is more generous than this, tell us and it applies.
